What God takes away, He gives back!!

OLLY!! Our 2nd Weimaraner to join our family. Each day of our life consists of taking care of this blessing we received! The end of 2009 we had a tragic devastation that unexpectedly happened to us...our baby boy "Dudley" passed away at 4 years old. He was truly our "angel" and he will never be forgotten......Like I titled this post...What God takes away, He gives back!...so about 3 days after Dudley's passing, we were lost....that's when we knew we had to find us another "friend" and one just like our last baby boy.....we searched the internet for Weimaraners, male and gray one again.....and we came across a listing of a 6 wk old litter!! Only about 30 min away....we found our self calling the owners and meeting them to pick out of 2 male puppies.....I picked up one and Graham the other....they were only 6 wks at the time and had already been weened off for about a week due to the mother having issues....the poor pup. I grabbed was whining quite a bit....Graham's, on the other hand, just sniffed him and the one difference is he had a white patch on this neck and chest......that was the deal breaker for us!! Yes, Olly is the same color as Dudley- but has his own unique characteristic...white patch!......Now Olly is almost 5 months old....he has been a BLESSING to help us overcome such a tragic loss......always playful,loving...a bit aggressive as a pup is ;)...but always there for us everyday!! A few pictures to show him off from Day 1 bringing him home, until today when he was playing in the front yard! *my favorite pose...him and his "blanky"....yes he drags it from room to room, and treats it like his pacifier....calms and soothes him till he falls asleep,literally!*
