Olly & Nursery

Many have asked how Olly, our baby boy, now 1 year and 4 months old, has been with our new addition...well these pictures speak for themselves!!! The first photos are the first day we brought Miss Lainey home....we had been told at one of our baby classes on introduction of baby and dog...to take a blanket to the hosp. and keep it with you and baby during the hosp. stay...once home let the dog sniff the blanket first before introduction of baby! so of course we did this and mommy had Olly's blanket with her in her bed during our hosp. stay! The day we came home mommy & daddy immediately walked outside to find Olly excited to see us after 3 nights of being gone (gma and gpa were there with him every night though, and the spoiled one slept with gma in our bed every night as usual ;) ) we let him sniff the blanket and from that moment he has been so mellow...did not jump up and down and go wild...and has been such a GOOD brother~~we could not have asked any more of him!!!
* Olly still is in our bed with us as usual, and has not been a problem at all
* I fig. well he will get up with me every time i'm up with her, feeding etc...well NO!! he sleeps the whole time through, like daddy somtimes! haha....
* He likes to give her kisses once in a while...;)
* He was very curious the first day we brought her home, followed us everywhere and had to be where she was!

Olly loves his little sister!!

Here are some pictures of her cute nursery!! I love it and she does too ;) Fits her perfectly! We were able to use Graham's mothers/brothers dresser and refinish it, shown in pictures, MeMe also bought the mirror shown here where daddy and gma are painting it to match her room....the saying on her wall above her crib is just perfect...the cute wall name letters & Blessed Blocks were made by Kayla McBride! Thanks for your time and talent, they are perfect!!

Enjoy!

Precious Moments!

A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.

Ready or not !!

So...as the saying goes..Ready or Not Here I Come!!!....This is the most fitting slogan for what happened to Graham and I...and our family 2 weeks ago today!! Ahh...so we joke around now that if you want to go into labor go eat at Master Grill in Frisco the night before! God was working his ways here....Mommy had gotten sick with a bad sinus infection on top of being 35 weeks prego and felt horrible monday the 7th of March....since she is spoiled and everyone needs their own mommy at times like this, my parents left Oklahoma to head here and take care of me...little did we know this was perfect timing to be with mommy! So a few days went by and thur. night daddy, mommy, gma and gpa decided to go have a nice dinner at MasterGrill...thur. at work I noticed I felt more uncomfortable and you felt VERY LOW!! but thinking nothing of it, hey you are due APril 11th!...we had a dr. appt the next morning (fri. the 11th) "thank god" and I told the dr. I noticed some slt changes...we did a test and the dr. piped up and said "this is your water that has broken, you will be sent to the hosp. TODAY to be induced!"....Umm...Ok, we have nothing with us etc. etc...but Graham was very good, I was shocked as we both were...we walked out into the waiting room where gma and gpa were waiting....Mommy well she started CRYING! and said we are having to go to the hosp. we are having our baby today!....Thank God my parents were there during this time...we four loaded up and immediately went to the hosp.! 10:30 am arrived, pitossin started at 11:30 am, water broke more at 5 pm..major contractions started then and at 12:17 am on March 12th we were blessed with a beautiful little bundle of joy!

Lainey Ray Bloodworth- 6 lbs 10 oz. 19 in.
Born at 35 weeks she was ready to meet her family and thankful how it all worked out! Mommy knew going into labor she wanted to try natural birth, the thought of epidural and c-sec. did not appeal to me and mommy toughed it out and went all Natural, yes def. bragging about this because it was EXTREME but sooo...worth it in the end, mommy felt good and the best part about it mommy could EAT right after delivery!!! ;) I had not ate anything that whole day besides a granola bar at like 9 am and if you know me I NEED my foooooddd!!!! So Thankful for my husband, mom and sister, Dandy for being my labor coaches and helping me through the tough labor pains, we did it and look what we have now!!!

I went from being 35 weeks & 4 days prego to........lying in my bed awaiting your arrival!

Our precious just born.

Sleeping peacfully with your gorgeous pink bonnet from the hosp.!

Aunt Dandy & Mommy love staring at you!!!

We are thankful for a healthy baby girl, My parents are here still helping..yes, I could not have done this without them and my sisters help at first!! I could have them here all the time...;) Thanks for all the congrats and comments!! Will post more blogs of lots of pictures, her baby shower, nursery etc!! Free time is far and in between but hoping to get more up soon!!!
