I love looking out our back window and seeing Olly in "his" chair, looking out over the fence watching cars & walkers go by.........He thanks us for building the deck and buying the chairs that allow him to look out!

This was a special weekend for my sister, Dandy, and her bf, Amal!......Amal is graduating from the Collin County Fire Academy tomorrow!....My parents came in on sat. to help celebrate his Surprise party at his family's house. The party turned out very well and we all had a great time! Today was spent by the women going ShoPPinG* and the men FiShinG @ the pond in our housing community. We wrapped the weekend up with a delicious meal of Grilled steaks, bacon-wrapped peppers, & veggies! Oh, and Graham would have to add --------> a W-I-N from his SPURS!!!!!! What a great weekend!!! Looking forward to a great week....Hop everyone has a good one!

After an UNEXPECTED event at my "previous" job....My dental office closed and left me without a J-O-B. Therefore, I am now in the transition part and searching for a new dental hygiene position.....now with my free time, on days I'm not helping out other dentist's, I find myself asking "what am I going to do today??".....well today, GPB had school for work related stuff so I figured Olly & I would get out and do some stuff! He loves riding along and so the first stop was PETCO-Where The Pets Go!.......ohhhh...he loves this place! We went in to visit the fish, which scares him everytime, hamsters, and dog toys!.....He picked out his new toy below, he had it in his mouth the whole time we checked and as we walked to the car...the workers were all enjoying his company.....the other part of our day was spent planting some peppers and flowers we got from my mother-in-law and hanging another bird feeder to add to our collection. The free time is nice for the moment, but praying that I find another job soon!

Way To GO!- GPB & JP.

Puppy potty training = not good on carpet floors...so.....we decided to put new flooring down in our living room, hallway, and entry way! Yes, thanks to Olly this was a great move! All the THANKS is given to Graham & Jared!! Jared was kind enough to come one weekend to help GPB out on the project. I was told from my husband "prob. be best for me to stay out of the way", as he gets his mind set on one thing and does not want to be bothered....so..like any girl would I found myself at the hair salon and mall all that day! (wouldn't have minded helping but...) THANKS AGAIN for all your help JP!! The finished product looks great! Opened our house up. Here are some photos of their awesome work:

Our last family photo with Dudley, several weeks before his passing....Glad we got to capture his moment here on earth from Shalayne Mayfield this past Thanksgiving season. You can see the resemblance of him in Olly!

What God takes away, He gives back!!

OLLY!! Our 2nd Weimaraner to join our family. Each day of our life consists of taking care of this blessing we received! The end of 2009 we had a tragic devastation that unexpectedly happened to us...our baby boy "Dudley" passed away at 4 years old. He was truly our "angel" and he will never be forgotten......Like I titled this post...What God takes away, He gives back!...so about 3 days after Dudley's passing, we were lost....that's when we knew we had to find us another "friend" and one just like our last baby boy.....we searched the internet for Weimaraners, male and gray one again.....and we came across a listing of a 6 wk old litter!! Only about 30 min away....we found our self calling the owners and meeting them to pick out of 2 male puppies.....I picked up one and Graham the other....they were only 6 wks at the time and had already been weened off for about a week due to the mother having issues....the poor pup. I grabbed was whining quite a bit....Graham's, on the other hand, just sniffed him and the one difference is he had a white patch on this neck and chest......that was the deal breaker for us!! Yes, Olly is the same color as Dudley- but has his own unique characteristic...white patch!......Now Olly is almost 5 months old....he has been a BLESSING to help us overcome such a tragic loss......always playful,loving...a bit aggressive as a pup is ;)...but always there for us everyday!! A few pictures to show him off from Day 1 bringing him home, until today when he was playing in the front yard! *my favorite pose...him and his "blanky"....yes he drags it from room to room, and treats it like his pacifier....calms and soothes him till he falls asleep,literally!*
